Off to Formby for the first day of the last week of the summer holidays, since the weekend wasn't looking good enough as a whole to head down to Shell Island. We took the kites and found a huge jellyfish on the beach, which the kids tried to resuscitate by dragging to a pool of water, but it didn't seem to be showing many life-signs (difficult to know what to look for, though). Stopped for fish'n'chips on the way home.
